Hello and welcome! I’m Michele Mielcarz, a graphic designer based in Portland, OR. With over a decade of professional design experience, I can help you accomplish your business goals through effective design and visual communication.
What gives me an edge as a designer is my innate understanding of meaningful visual communication, storytelling and branding. I am able to get to the heart of your brand and communicate it in a visual way that resonates with your customers. I learn what your challenges are and how we can use design to solve the problem.
After graduating from the Art Institute of Portland with a BS in Graphic Design, I joined the Portland Urban Pages as Art Director, producing four issues as well as a pocket guide book to Portland. I then went on to work in house with Norm Thompson Outfitters, designing for both print and web for multiple brands.
In 2016, I launched my own freelance practice, where I specialize in helping small businesses and organizations with their marketing and business development needs.
